Psychosocial Sentencing Reports

Dr. Elliott prepares comprehensive psychosocial history reports for use in criminal sentencing, providing the court with a clinically grounded account of a defendant's developmental, family, and social history. These reports help contextualize behavior and identify mitigating factors relevant to sentencing decisions.

Each report draws on structured clinical interviews, record review, and collateral interviews with family members and other relevant sources. Dr. Elliott has prepared psychosocial evaluations for both capital and non-capital cases, working closely with defense counsel to ensure the report supports the broader defense and mitigation strategy.
